The Mpumalanga Tooling Initiative (MTI) which is supported by the Middleburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry lived up to its slogan "Make it Happen", when the CEO of MTI, Hannes Venter presented a gift of the world (World Globe) to the President of SA Mr Jacob Zuma.

The unique stainless steel globe was manufactured by Mr Bilal Parlak.

This year’s event, which has already increased in size, sees the entry of laser technology and an increased focus on precision machining, design and training.
Technical TheatreA welcome addition to this year’s exhibition is the introduction of the Technical Theatre, a platform for exhibitors to share their expertise on current market trends in the industry. There will be a limited number of presentation slots available to exhibitors. Presentations will commence daily at 10h00 and finish at 16h30. All slots are 20 minutes including Q&A sessions with a 10 minute ‘turnaround’ interval. The cost is R1 000.00 excluding VAT per 20 minute slot.
